I have been rummaging through my audio stuff that I had lying around and ran across some Boston Acoustic in wall speakers that I were in a job that I did demolition on and the owner did not want them.

I then found some speaker cabinets that I made for a pair of polkaudio MM5500 car speakers I had lying around. The polks are now in my play car and the the speaker cabinets were empty.

I thought I wonder if the Bostons will fit in the cabinets and with in 45 minutes I had a new pair of book shelf speakers that I did not have 45 minutes ago.

The cabinets are also made from left over cuts of Ipe mahogany from a deck job I did about 4 years ago. Each speaker weighs @ 25 lbs because the ipe is so dense.

So for about $ 10-12 for the banana post terminals and some poly fill I got me some speakers.

I have not listened to them yet but they did sound good with the polk drivers in the cabinet.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
