At last........

HOLY $$$T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS WHAT YOU GUYS WERE TALKING ABOUT!!!

Every time I've made an upgrade I thought I was there...but oh how could I be so wrong. This is definitely it, and I just can't believe I missed this much for so long; Did I say at any moment that my system sounded good???? I was blind (really deaf..).
It's like the right pieces finally came together; the AES, the Bada CDP and the Belles; not any of them individually....but the combination of the three.

There's still brake in time for a few tubes, but still, music just sounds new....instruments sound different, better; I hear NEW instruments.....I'll just shut up, because I cannot explain it; all I know is that I am like a little kid in a toy store, playing those special tunes that I'm so familiar with, just to discover a new sound.
I don't think I'll get much sleep tonight....
At last, the big SDA's have something that makes justice to them.
I am pretty sure I am not in that Nirvana place :), but the important thing is that right now I feel I'm there.

Well, just woke up...people in this family don't understand why you would go to bed at 4 am just because you are listening to music...you should see their faces

All I can say now is, I am in big trouble...tomorrow I'm gonna get the AL-III's, and the agreement was that I would keep only one of the speakers (AL-III's or 1.2 TL's).
Well, after hearing what the SDA's are really capable of with "decent" gear...they'd have top put a gun on my face for me to let them go..and....all the comments I hear is that the AL-III's are THE speakers for detail and imaging. It seems to me that these two are the perfect candidates to have two pair of speakers...

We'll see how thing go; for now, still enjoying the "new" music. :D

As a matter of fact, yes. (I think)

I'll post my comments about the fuse in the DIY section once I've had time to re-evaluate it.

WOW...congrats HT!!! If I remember correctly, your 1.2 Tl's have the piano finish don't they? Well if you ever decide that they need to go, their brothers are over here and they'd like to get together with them side by side.

Don't ya just love it when this god-forsaken hobby finally spreads its legs for ya? Congrats on your lil' slice of audio nirvana...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
