Which would you get: (both sans sub) Polk RM6005 or Athena Point 5 MKII?
A similar thread was up awhile ago, but not many people weighed in, and the comparison was somewhat unbalanced as the Polk setup discussed in that thread came bundled with a notoriously underpowered sub, and the Athena came without a sub. I have an Infinity PS8 that provides more than enough low-end in my small space, so low-end capabilities is moot...
Basically, I'd like opinions about the high and midrange capaibilities of the two satellite systems... I've already paid 149 for a new set of Polk RM6005's, but have 30 days to return them... have an opportunity to pick up a year-and-a-half-old set of the Point 5's for probably around 100, maybe less.
In your opinions, which system provides the clearest, most defined sound, the best fidelity?
Thanks!

You need to demo them and see what YOU like. The decision is yours....

Polk.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
