We love this show, funny as hell !

One of my faves. I DVR every episode. I just hope that Nancy can talk Peter out of busting Heylia.

I always wondered what happened to Kevin Nealon...

he came to our college to do stand-up and was booed unmercifully...
He was getting heckled left and right, and some drunk kids actually tried to get on stage. I guess the whole Hans and Franz thing didn't fly a decade after it's heyday...

I remember him slamming the mike down, saying something to the extent of "eff Kentucky" and storming off....

I've heard nothing but good things about the show though
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

What pisses me off is that it's only a 30 minute show and the season is already almost over. What happened to the 26 episode seasons??? They'll only do 12 then we'll have to wait for over a year for the next season.

    I also love Huff.

Sorry, but this one caused me to cancel Showtime. The distribution of marijuana is illegal, immoral and just not appropriate. If you get the feeling I hate illegal drugs you would be correct.

I do however feel Showtime can air any type of show they want.

Speaking of cable shows, did anyone catch the pilot episode of "DEXTER"?

You want to talk about creepy. But I have to admit, it was good, imo.

    Willow,

My Showtime decision only applies to me, however, I ensure real involvement in any illegal activity results in arrest. Please note I do feel Showtime should be allowed to air the show and of course anybody who cares to can watch it, as I said, I have personal thing about the drugs so I could not enjoy the the ironic humor of the show.

No offense Ted, I understand your position, being on the job and all, but there are much, much, much worse things in this nation that are legal(alcohol and tobacco for example) and immoral. I don't understand the immoral part, though.

Take pot out of the "blackmarket" and things would change dramatically.

People just need something to demonize.

I'm down to watching the history and sci-fi. Thank goodness for the
2-channel rig ! I draw the line at stupid. Most programming is aimed
at 20 year olds, like most movies. Pop up ads on tv? Why do we tolerate that?

    Weeds was actually somewhat entertaining.

It has been decriminalized in 11 states, in small amounts for personal use, here, too.

Noel, I am not nieve and understand people use illegal drugs. Alcohol is a terrible drug, however, it is legal consume, when used or produced illegally it is a crime. I suppose my not reeltrouble life has slanted me on this one and I am not going to preach. I thought it immoral to depict a mother/woman whose only way to make ends meet is to commit to a life of crime and illegal drug activity. Its also pretty sad, so I just could not laugh at the funny stuff, its a show intended for adults. If others enjoy the show then it is in the end just a TV show.

Anyway, CP is for fun, so I am out and this is a thread about enjoying a TV show, CP is not an appropriate forum for any agenda to legalize drugs.

There was one... my roommates at the time were obsessed with the show. I never really dug it... cut too much into my Sunday night cartoons.
Kind of like an ultra-morbid Obsession commercial

No agenda here. Just pointing out a different viewpoint. And yes, I have done my research on the subject, though it was several years back, while in college. I'll just leave it at that.
