It seems that 2 more Moody Blues SACD's are in the works, but I sure wish there were more rock and blues releases.

I suspect SACD has already passed the 4,100 title mark. Currently, 4,071 SACD titles listed at sa-cd.net. I recently read that there are 20,000 DVD-V titles released, so 4,000+ titles for an essentially aidiophile niche format is quite healthy.

Nick Davis, engineer for Genesis, recently mentioned that the band's entire catalog may be released as SACD + DVD sets....soon. Elton John's latest studio album also has a multi-channel mix in the works.

These threads are like watching a homeless geriatric walking around in a circle with a SACD flag....what's your Paypal address?

EDIT: I also have a SACD investment, 4 CDP's down the road and but it simply hasn't gotten better. The music that could drive this genre is not the baby boomer....its not the classical enthusiast, it's **** generation ME.

If you want to see a boom in SACD, release something that someone gives a **** about....but that will never happen, as the marketing lost focus a couple years ago. Yea, I said it, a recording that someone gives a **** about....maybe something more than DSOTM, Rolling Stones or a handful of others....gimme a break. Great recordings but what a waste of time so far.

Please save the SACD rhetoric for someone else, as I'm not in the dark.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    SACD ROCKS!

    Paypal sucks.

Have a nice day. I resemble a me baby boomer. High sample rates=high interest. I have a blue flag and a red one. I frequently listen in the dark.

Redbook is dead, yea I said it. Wow guess I am now an expert.

sa-cd.net now list 4,083 titles....surely going to surpass 4,100 titles before end of October.

My guess is that SACD will have 4,200 titles listed at sa-cd.net at end of year.
