Can anyone identify these speakers?

They're for auction on Ebay right now. I was planning to get some R15s for side surrounds to go with my R50 fronts, and I was wondering how these would compare to the R15s.
Thanks!

Aye, your posting is definitely more frequent down there, but you haven't posted since 7/10. And somehow it seems that I missed most of the posts you made before your little break. Glad to see you back, though.George Grand wrote: »

I'm just surprised that someone from Polk actually said the word Peerless! Most of the Polk CS reps will that the speaker used a Polk SL1000, or say that Peerless were never used in Polk
To the original poster: These are probably a much better sounding speaker than your R50. Smoother tweeter, better mids. It is a classic Polk bookshelf. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

Thanks for all the help, everyone! If these speakers do sound better than my R50s, then how will they sound as surround speakers? Will they overpower the fronts? I realize that I can turn down their volume, but I just want to make sure that they'll sound good with my current system. Here's the rest of my system:
Receiver: Panasonic XR55s
Fronts: R50
Sub: Polk PSW350 -

Sounding better doesn't mean they will be louder or overpower, in fact, probably the opposite. Don't be surprised if those Polk Monitor 4 go for significantly higher than a pair of R15. The R15 would be the better match. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

That makes more sense about not overpowering. I'm still a newb at all this. I know that the R15 is a better match, but surround speakers don't really need to be a perfect timbre match. So, if you had my system, which speakers would you get for your surrounds? Keep in mind that I don't want to spend more than $70 with shipping, so please don't recommend some wonderfully sounding, yet expensive speakers.
The seller doesn't know what the model is, so I'm hoping that these speakers will sell for cheap because people won't know what they're bidding on.
