do i actually need 2 amps?

i recently bought 2 pairs of the MMC650 speakers and the C400.4 4/3/2 channel amp. im planning on purchasing a 10" sub. do i need to have another amp to compensate for the power it will be using?

    IF I understand you correctly, you have purchased a system and an amp to run the speakers you currently have. You are asking if you will need an additional amp to run the sub. If that is correct, the answer is "depends".

    If you purchase a passive sub, you will probably want a separate amp to power it, but won't need 2 channels to do it.

    If you do like most of us, you will buy a powered sub that has a self contained amp. In this case, no you will not need another amp.

    If I didn't understand your situation correctly, well then, I have no idea!
