Cell Phone Range Extenders? (NOT SPAM)

I ran across this through CEDIA, and I might try it for a month to see how well it works.

Anyone else try anything like this?

I've heard of those- I'm kinda curious, too.

Related: Don't suppose you've seen a dock that that boosts your cell phone signal AND lets you tie your cell phone into your house system (ie you just dump your cell phone in the dock when you get home - all the house lines use the cell phone to make calls). I saw a press release for something like that, but i've never been able to find the actual product.

Cingular had something like that a couple of years ago. It was a dock that essentially forwared to your BellSouth/SBC(whatever) landline account and let you use your landline with your cell number, or something to that effect.

I don't remember if you could call from the landlines though.

I'd like to know if it works, can you let us know if you try it? I get one bar standing on the edge of my deck, and nothing in the house.

I'm working on becoming a dealer, so I might be able to get a sample to try it. Other than that, they have a 30 day return policy, so you could always get one to try, then send it back if it doesn't work.
