Had the pleasure of having reeltrouble1 at the casa this weekend. ALWAYS a great time hanging out with Ted.

Spun some good vinyl along with Dave the resident finder of cool vinyl. Side note: the new Dire Straits Bros in Arms 180gm pressing is a MUST HAVE.......ate some decent food and had a good time all around.

Always good to spend time with friends....

I've yet to hear a bad pressing of that album. A must have in any form! Their self titled album is great sounding too.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

True, however this pressing is far superior to any other one that I've heard.

Except for the SACD, of course!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They are a pleasure indeed, in fact I enjoy both formats.

Had a great weekend, first up a stay with F1, I checked the nooks and crannies, the super hold must be well hidden no sign of it, also the mirrors have covers!!! YIKES. I hit the hay at 2:00 am, Jesse was doing his morning stretch.

We did get to visit with BlueMD. Great time, great family, with a gorgeous little one. Oh yea Mike's is the man for Blue's collection. I got a very pleasent ear full. And yes its true the Mrs. digs audio.

Then of course stopped off at Troy's, who introduced me to a very interesting vinyl seller, its a good thing I am 180 miles from that place, but I spent most of today listening to my new vintage vinyl. Great food and hospitality with Dave lending his expertise and of course hooking me up. Got to meet Dave's wife's finally, she's too good for this bunch, oh yea, she's cute too. I did my best to corner her and Wendi.

    Lasting Impressions

MF Tri-Vista class and TL's tickle the ear bones just right.

The Revel Gems with PS Audio power are a refined match.

Carver Lightstar, SRS, with vinyl gets your old school groove on.

VPI, AR-9's and Lady Singer's can make your core parts move.

Thanks to everyone for the great weekend it was a pleasure listening to tunes with my buds. Aint Club Polk just GRAND!!!!!

Sure 'nuff. Great having you over and you're welcome back any time.

I had to convince Ted that it was ok to turn it up, but once he got it, there was no turning back. :D
