R15s black under $50 New

Hi, noob, first polk product, just registered these R15s I got from ebay and just wanted to say that I amazed at what sound you can get for now for so few dollars. Thay are still being broken in but they already beat the pants off the 3 way cheapa$$ AIWA speakers from an old minisystem that I had connected to this used denon.
Not bad for PC sound however the difference between CDs and 320kbs MP3s @ is definitely more noticeable especially on any music that includes brass or horns. Nothing -2db of treble cant tame however. But for the PRICE I am truly satistfied. Outstanding value.
Main System: Outlaw950/Klipsch Ref Ser 6.1/HSU VTF2/Panny S77/ Mitsu WS65315/Old DENON 6disc carousel/ CarverPM400X1/QSC RMX850X2. NAKIMICHI Cassette Deck. SA Hidef DVR. Furman Power Conditioner
PC System: DENON AVC700 65 watt control amp, got on ebay for $26. These R15s i got on ebay NEW for $45. An old Wharfedale MODUS SUB BASS passive subwoofer that someone owed me money for a long time ago.....

    Agreed, the R15's are definitely not SDA's to be sure, but they definitely can give a good bang for the buck.

    Ebay's a good place to look, but keep an eye out also on outpost.com.
    They have R15's, R50's, R70's, etc at excellent prices now and than. Watch out for shipping costs, though. Sometimes Outpost is kind, and sometimes they're painful.

    Bensbargains.net is good for giving head's up on audio deals, too. Give them a visit.

    just bought the r15s from circuit city for 44 bucks for the pair, great deal and great sound for rear speakers, have infinity primus 250s in the front and a BIC sub. Would anyone recommend any other rear speaakers for surround sound?

    you may want to go with another pair of R15's for surround.
