biamping with 2 amps

Options
Hello, If I wanted to biamp my Paradigm 100's do I just split the cable coming out of the receivers into 2 separate inputs on a external amp? I have 2 Anthem amps and I wanna try to biamp them to see if I hear any differences.

Sorry pal, it's a bit trickier than that - not only do you require two sets of amps per speaker, but you need amps which allow rolloff points (i.e. frequency cutoffs) so you can send LOW frequencies to the woofers and HIGH frequencies to the tweeters - otherwise you're just getting glorified bi-wire sound.

Usually, you need either a bi-amp specific setup (like my Technics SADA10) with built-in frequency rolloffs, or amps with frequency tuneable parameters (like HKs) where you set the frequency rolloff point.
    HT1: Polk Monitor 5jrS2 L/R, Polk CS400i center (bi-wire)
    Sides: Polk VX300i surround speakers
    Subwoofer: Pioneer PSW-8mk2
    Receiver: Denon AVR-S750H

Office: Panasonic SB-PM27 speakers (bi-amp mode)
    Receiver: Panasonic SA-XR57 (bi-amp mode)
