I've been searching these threads for the reference for downlaoding an Excel spreadsheet with the SPL correction factors for a rat shack SPL meter and can't find it. Can anyone help?
The same thread also had a nice article from Sound and Vision on HT setup and subwoofer calibration.
I'm helping a friend setup his HT and wanted to try this. I know there are some tone downloads, etc for using a laptop to do frequency sweeps, etc.
Any help would be appreciated!

Download Room EQ Wizard, it's free and it's a sweet little program. You can run sweeps in a few seconds rather than manually by hand. The only downside is you have to have a certain type of soundcard to use with a laptop. I bought a USB Creative soundcard for like $15 on ebay. Well worth it.
