Got myself a new car this weekend and I am trying to decide whether its worth it to install my subs and amp in the new car.

Car:

2006 Infiniti G35x

System:

Kicker 1200.1
Kicker 10" Solobaric L7(2)

I want to keep it super simple, do you guys think I should just buy a premade box and stick the subs in or go through the effort of having a custom setup done again. If so, ported or sealed? How big?

If youre wanting to keep it "plug and play", just get a good premade box that has the proper interior volume for your subs.

Sealed would be the best way to go if youre wanting a premade. Ported can work well but they usually have to be built specifically for the sub in order to make em work best.

For a car that nice, I'd rather have a custom box that fits in some small little corner, barely visible only if you know where it is. I also second sealed, as I'm more SQ than SPL.

I'd have a custom box built for a single 10" sub. Do you really want to hoopty ride a G35?

Decided to cut it down to 1 10" and a smaller amp. Going to be selling the rest of the stuff.
