Chicago beats the Vikings at home! Helluva defensive ballgame, but way to may penalties.
Bengals over the Steelers, at home even! Revenge is sweet!
Redskins scalped the Texans, in Houston.
Seems like the home teams are having a tough go of it today, hope it holds true for tonights game.
See ya after the game. Go Broncos!!

....and the St. Louis Rams continue with their avalanche of offensive scoring ......oh, I'm sorry, they're not !!
They did score a first half TD with some defensive help and a little assist of the refs.
Well, the second half is coming up: will Bulger continue with his "Deer in the Headlights" routine, or will the ancient Cardinals curse ("We shoulda won !") bite them in the derriere ?Sal Palooza -
I'm glad the bears pulled through... same w/ the chiefs. too bad the pakcers one just because my girlfriend is going to shove that in my face all night.cats.vans.bag...

Wow. Nice win for the Bears. Some may say lucky but big defensive turnovers have become their trademark. They seem to have an explosive offense at times this year. FG, FG, FG and then BOOM touchdown! They also are really spreading things around this year. You are never quite sure who they will use next.

The Ravens are 3-0 by the skin of their teeth.
The quality of the CBS broadcast here in Baltimore was abysmal. We had a storm roll through right before the game and it looked like I was watching a game from the 70's and there was static coming through the right front channel.
Fox's coverage of Seattle and Giants game was better in the video department but I was getting static in the left rear channel.

Panthers won. Barely.
First half was all Panthers. The second half was Panthers with butter on their hands. What the effffff.
There are two Panthers teams. 1 with Steve Smith. 1 Without Steve Smith. The first one is a much better team..- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Well, Feely didn't blow it for the Giants this year.
I'm glad I woke up for the Bengals Steelers game. I enjoyed that one quite a bit. -
Go Jets!!!! they pulled off a much needed win this week!

Yep, Tom Brady is probably wishing the ownership had cut loose with a little cash for Deion Branch.Sal Palooza -
Just got back from the Past Broncos game...
Friggin Brady hasn't looked good at ALL this year. I know he needs some receivers around him, but that still doesn't explain why he keeps throwing into double coverage, and over or underthrowing every receiver that IS out there.
I also don't understand the Pats' offensive game plan lately. The first 3 quarters of the game they were just chuckin the ball down field blindly and getting nowhere. Fourth quarter, when the game is pretty mcuh over, they start playing like they should, and throwing quick five and ten yard passes and getting first downs, actually get a touchdown, but it's too late.
Just a horrible game all around.
At least it didn't rain like they said it would. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

That was the Broncos prevent defense, not their base defense. Might explain why the 6yd out was always open and how it took 4 minutes for a hurry up offense to score while passing on every down and needing 10 passes to score.
Denver's D had a little something to do with the game plan the Pats ran. Threw to Champs side twice, both times almost picked. Couldn't run at all. The only success was screens and short outs to the left. There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. I was rooting for the Broncos, but was having a fit at the Pat's receivers.
An atypical pass play in that hurry up offense:
2nd and 6. Receiver catches the ball for an 8 yard gain 1 yard from the sidelines, but decides that an extra yard and a half is more important at that point than stopping the clock by going out of bounds.
Unbelievably dumb.Sal Palooza -

Yeah, that made no sense. Having good receivers is INVALUABLE when you're in a two minute drill like that. Having good hands is one thing, having good hands and football smarts is a whole other.jdhdiggs wrote:That was the Broncos prevent defense, not their base defense. Hey, I give the Broncos props, their D looked fantastic. They relaxed the pass rush a bit to keep coverage downfield, didn't seem to overuse the blitz. Every receiver Brady threw to ended up being double covered somehow. Great game by them.If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

It also didn't hurt that they didn't even try to go down the field. If they are going to dink and dunk while down 17, let 'em.There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nice homecoming for the Saints tonight.
