Polk Monitor 10's, they look good in the pix. LOL I don't need any more speakers, the wife shuddered after the 2.3TL's came home a few weeks ago, and then REALLY freeked when I brought home the Infinity RS1b's last week!:eek: I have no interest in this sale, nor do I know the seller.

    I LOVE vintage Infinity. This set of RS1b's could pass as New Old Stock they are that nice. The Polk 2.3tl's are getting a rest as I set up the RS1b's in the bedroom for a while. Life is good! I'm just hoping that she doesn't move me out to the garage.;)

    Apples and oranges. Planar delicacy (Infinity) vs cone slam (Polk).

    Fortunately for me, I like both apples and oranges.

    Well stated! How do the Infinity's hold up to to the strengths (imaging, etc.) of the TL's? I've always lusted after the upper-end Infinity's of that era but never had the chance to really listen to them. :(

    Well, if you are anywhere near me......I'm in Massachusetts you are welcome to come get a listen here.

    This particular pair of RS1b disappears far better than the Polks. I do like the Polks, but the whole premise of the speaker is different, thus a comparison is just not fair. Again, apples & oranges, both speakers have their strengths and weaknesses.

    'Tis a bit of a haul but you never know...appreciate the invite! Might just have to find a reason to head up north (I'm outside Philly). In the meantime, enjoy! :)

    Wonder how those RS1b's compare to the IRS Beta's... ;) Another life, perhaps...

    I just scored those polks off CL for less than what he was asking. The condition was decent, i decided to paint them like i did to all my other polks. Check out my other post in this forum.
