For sale is a Parasound HCA-1000A high current, 2-channel amplifier. This bridgeable amp is rated 8/10 for age. Very minor scratches here and there; face is clean. Pumps out 125 wpc into 8 ohms and 200 wpc into 4 ohms. Here's a link to more info: http://www.parasound.com/vintage/hca1000a.php

    Try a tube pre with the 1000! I was amazed when I paired the Audcom 110 with the Parasound 1000. Doug.

    If I decide to pass the HCA1000A along (which, at this point, very well may be my next step), I'll let you know. I don't know if it'll replace my tube amps, or if I'll keep the tubes. Time will tell.

    Glad to hear the DAC had such a great effect, especially seeing that it wasn't that expensive.
