fx500

I'm thinking about adding a pair of fx500 to my home theater. My home theater currently consists of CS400I, RTI100, RT800I, and RT55I. Would getting the fx500 be a good addition to my set up? Also is there a big difference between the fx500 and fx500i. Thanks

Since they are used primarily for ambient effects, I don't think you will have much of a problem.

I own them - and with your speakers they are the best match. Very nice speakers... Do IT!!!!

I've got a pair in our HT rig,like em a lot...The difference in the FX500 and the 500i is the same as in your RT55i vs. RT55's

The "i" stands for Improved Mid-Driver (blue) instead of (black)

I got a pair of 500i used, but 8.5/10 condition, right off of CP for $200.
Look around, and be patient.
BTW, I love the 500i 's as surrounds.
