Naner Karma

Willow Posts: 11,040
I have 6 pairs of compression style naners up for Karma.
They are now up for grabs for someone.

They were used for my mains till I received the AQ cables from Zach !

Karma rules :

1-list what frustrates the most about A/V
2-list the one item which you think made the best improvement on your system.

Karma shuts down @ 12pm this Friday

Good luck and enjoy !

    In Please.

    1. What frustrates me about A/V is that I always want to get something better and am only satisfied with new purchases for a short time before wanting to upgrade.
    2. Getting an external amp -- Adcom 545 II. This made a huge difference for me.

    Thanks!

These are the one's with the "floating slugs" correct? I've had 'em and they're snug as a bug.

    not in, but excellent Karma

1- the fact that so many upgrades are not across the board... sometimes you give a little in one area, so you can gain more in another.... two steps forward and one step back

    2- the Arros
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

    1) Copy-protection on movie media - I ain't looking to sell the movies, I just don't want my 2 year old wasting my money by breaking any more of them...I finally bought a solution to the problem, though.
    2) Best upgrade has been the HSU Sub, by far.

    2) Tubes. I have 2 Jolida's now (1301 hybrid and 302a integrated), and they're awesome.

    1. what frustrates me most about AV? - that MrNightly has a crappy sub. :p
seriously though. that with all of today's advancements.. that we still have
ton's of wires, plugs, adapters, cables, etc just to have a decent system together.. when will this hobby get more user friendly?

    2. item that made the best improvement in my system? Hmmmm, I guess it
would have to be the SRS's or the tube DAC. ;)

Putting a system together that you like and enjoy, but wondering what it would be like to step up to the next better line of gear.

Bi-amping my RTi8's with the Rotel was the largest improvement in the overall system.

    1) What frustrates me the most about A/V is the poor recording quality I find on so many CDs.

    2) The one item that made the best improvement in my system was adding a SVS PB12 plus/2 subwoofer.

    1. Knowing that no matter how much video is improved and advances I will never hear myself or anyone else for that matter say, "WOW it looks like I am really in there!". Whereas with 2 ch I have and say often, "WOW it sounds like I am there!"

    2. My Spectral preamp, it exposes so, so amplifiers and absolutely makes good designed amps sing, because the preamp is so transparent.
