Here are a couple of pics of the boys new rig bought at Flea Market prices;)
I have had more fun doing this than assembling my ht rig.

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Small budget rigs done well are pretty cool. The painted cinderblocks look great too.

    Cutest little rig I've ever seen! I love the cinder blocks as well! You certainly don't have to worry about them collapsing!

    Ha. I knew the cinder blocks would draw the most attention.

    I have a buddy who is "Old School" and he insisted on either cinder blocks or Falstaff beer boxes. Ah....... good times:D


    And Doro warned me that I would spend most of my time yelling "turn that damn thing down" and he was right.;)

    Thanks everyone for the kind words. My boy has had a great day. I guess he was telling everybody at school that his new rig was on the internet and people were saying how cool it was.

    He's walking around the house today like a 13 year old Barney Fife with his chest all puffed out, being all big and bad.:D

    Now we have to hope that the kids in his school just look at the pictures in the thread and do not read it. Otherwise they will be calling him Barney Fife for the rest of the school year.
