Internet Problem!!!

So, I have a few minutes to goof off on the computer at school between classes, and I go to www.carstereo.com and catch up on posts in their forum. Well, I read, and I find one I wanna respond to. I click reply, sign in....BOOM, incorrect user log in. What? I sign in again BOOM, incorrect user log in. I do it again, being very careful, and I get the same thing again. Then I remember 1) that I tried logging in to the site once from school while I was logged in at home; that wouldn't work (so I guess the site won't let you be logged in from two different computers simultaneously); and 2) that I had been logged in on that site earlier from a computer in my CIS class. GULP!

Does this mean I won't be able to log into that account until I can log off from taht computer? I forgot to log out, which I can't believe, but I think I did. BUT, I turned off the computer when I was done...so I would think it shouldn't be creating a problem.

So, what's going on?

P.S. Don't you like how I make a nice, looooong post about everything? ;):D

Usually sites like that will let you log in as many times as you want. If not, which is rare, the login will time out eventually. Honestly, I've never heard of a bulletin board type site blocking someone for logging in on multiple machines.

What I would be worried about if I were you would be that someone saw your account signed in on a random computer and changed your password on you. Usually you need to type in your old password for that to happen, but not always.

Click the "Forgot password" button and have them mail you your password, see if it is changed.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

That's a good idea. As I sit here and think about it, I'm fairly sure that I did actually log out on that computer; but I'm still not positive.

I hope no one does get that password; it's my password for practically everything.

Chances are it'll end up being some server issue on their part.

I just had them email me my password...it's the same.

You know, I think I was forgetting to enter the last two digits of my password! :p

At any rate, it works now.

    Thanks for the help!!
