I believe is was Pthuggy who recomended this product to me.
Plastx is made by Meguires. Cost like 6.99 or something like that.
And basically what Plastx does is it cleans up old plastic and makes it look shiney again.
When I first heard about it, I thought this thing was a bunch of BS - how can it clean up old plastic? I mean W-T-F...
But let me tell you, I put this thing on my magical power ball...
My tail and head lights look darn near new. The hazey and old look is absolutely gone. Now I am sure I will have to do it about once a month, but it looks brilliant.
I also did the Ford emblem on the front, and the rear plastic/reflector thingy that goes across the tail gate. All looks brand new...
And then I did the dash where you view the speedometer and such with it - that improved it ALOT.
I am very impressed, anyone with an older vehicle must try this product...

Some Pics...
The one of the whole truck is the best pic I have of the lights before being cleaned... not a great pic.
I love this camera i am borrowing..insanely good...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I use a product called Dri Wash N' Guard (I used this on all my Corvette's that
I showed) it's not cheap at $42.00 a quart but it works on just about everything
including plastic!
My 68 Corvette's original lights were as you can imagine, dull... You could not
even see through the clear lenses on the front park lights. After sitting down
and rubbing the lenses with DWG on a terrycloth they were crystal clear
again.. And there is no abrasive in the stuff.... Don't ask me how it works -
42 bucks would buy all my car cleaning products that I use...
haha.... Im sure it works great, but thats a lil rich for my blood - haha...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Man... I like this Plastx stuff. The more I used it, the more plastic I found...
Cargo Light, Interior Light, Emblems on the steering wheel, front - tail lights, head lights, wheel centers...
Really helped my wheels... the "gold" ring they had in there with a reflector was totally hidden over before....
Freaking sweet
But I think I got down to a science all the products I am going to continue to use...

I pretty much stopped cleaning other peoples cars looong ago...
One time I waxed my truck about 6 times - but it rained for 2 weeks straight... and a week after that it was all but gone. I hate not having a clear coat.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
That reminds me of the time I hand washed both my wife's car and mine. Did a thorough job on both cars. I then proceded to do the Meguire's 3 step system (cleaner, polish, and wax) on both cars. Man, I serioulsy think I was dehydrated by the end of the process. I did everything by hand, and it was a nice and hot Southern California day. I will never do that again... one car at a time now.Alpine: CDA-7949
