Have to brag on myself so bear with me.

Just got back from a show where I nailed my highest score ever and the highest score in my class ever (again :D )!

Whats better is that I also got Best of Show for the highest score overall which is unheard of by an Amatuer (even tho its my 2nd! :D:D )

Whats even better is that I beat that dude that always beats me with the Focal/Audison system by 6 points AND beat Scott Selvidge in Master Class albeit by only .1 point. Thats the best part cause Scott has the best system Ive ever heard and usually mops the floor with everybody, so much so that a lot of us started jokingly calling the Best of Show award the Selvidge award, so luckily he was having an off day but Ill still take it cause Im sure he'll tear me a new one at the next show!

Icing on the cake is that the competition today was pretty stiff with the top 3 guys in my class showing up and the judge being a "finals level" judge.

OK, enough toot'n. Im going to get drunk now and watch the Tennessee/Florida game.

hey good job mcLeod and thanks for the info about the subs and 500.1 amp
at first i thought i was only gonna be able to run 175 on each sub my 2 2104
im trying to put together a good sq competition quality system
i know i should go with the sr series but i cant afford it
tell me what you think 2 2104 with a 500.1 a 400.4 powering one set of mmc6500 and a set of momo coax 650's and a pioneer deh-p7800mp

what tips can you tell me to tell my installers for good competition performance. im gonna get every thing flushed in the trunk and amp racks
a really cool flush box with dividing board between the 2 subs and a polk/momo logo on the floor

HOLY ****! I won Alabama State Finals!!

I was announced as 2nd place after 2 tiebreakers by .7 points but the event director for that show just posted on the MECA forum that in going over the score sheets I actually outscored the other guy albeit just barely!!!

    Woohoo!!!!!

They even corrected it on the results page!

    Actually it was by .7

We both tied with a 54 and I won by .7 points in the tie breaker which is the tonality scores only added up. But since their computer wont let them put both first and second place scores as the same, they make one .1 lower.
