I have a pair of SL2000 tweeters for sale. I have no idea what a fair price is, so I'll rely on the veteran Polkies for guidance.

PM me if interested. PayPal is preferred.

Thanks.

Since they didn't sell on ebay, I'm gonna virtually give them away my pair of SL2000 tweeters to anyone who wants them. I'd prefer for it to be a Polkie who owns SDA speakers and has a legitimate use for them. Just asking $10 bucks to cover my shipping and handling costs.

    PM me if interested.

    Thanks.

I have an extra set that I can part with. I do not know a fair price, so I am looking for a suggestion or two. Don't want to high-jack this thread, but I can't PM you.

Well........that's embarrassing....... anyhow.....it looks like prices are all over the place.......20, 30, $50 per pair, shipped. I don't want to spend too much because i understand you can get a pair of new replacements for $96 from polk, but i'd like it to be worth your time as well. What would you like for the pair including shipping? I actually need two pair. I bought I pair of sda crs's on CL for $150. The cabinets are rough but i thought it a fair price. Turns out they need tweeters too. you get what you pay for.

$20 shipped is the usual price here on Club Polk.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Are you sure it's the tweeters? Have you removed them from the cabinet and checked them independently of being in the cabinet? There have been instances of the poly thermal switch being bad and not letting signal thru. Just an idea....

I'm eagerly awaiting the interconnect from polk. They usually sound great, but at moderate volume some vocals and instuments, usually horns, sound scratchy and discolored. I swapped out the sda stereo tweeters with the sl2000 from my rta 8t's downstairs and the sound improved significantly. i think the dimensional tweeters may have issues as well but am waiting for the interconnect to be sure. I don't know much about speaker troubleshooting, just know when they don't sound right and these definately don't. please advise.

I suspect he meant price per tweeter, not for the pair. If you search the for sale forum for SL2000, you'll see they go for $20-$25 shipped.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
