How does this happen? (RTi10 flub)

While removing the bridging bars from one of my RTi10s, darned if I didn't drop one of the post clamp nuts. You know of course, where it went, bounced off the rear and right into the port!

OH NO! Crap! I can't believe I just did that. How the HECK am I going to get it out? I'm so dumb. Can't reach in from the back, mind is racing.. maybe from the front? Remove grill, go to examine the front port and I notice the red plastic nut has fallen straight through the front port, resting on the silver plastic piece that aligns with the grille. Huge sigh of confused relief.

How the heck did that happen? What do the insides of that speaker look like that would allow that nut to slip straight through from back to front?

The mouse that has taken up residence inside your RTi10 didn't like being bombed with the plastic piece and shoved it out the front so you could retrieve it. Speaker mice are your friends and one of the secret high-end audio tweaks
