hi if anyone has a pair of rti6 bookshelf speakers could you please weigh one and let me know what it comes out to because i bought a pair of speakers online and the weight registered by ups is about 10 under what polk states. so if someone could do this within the next few days that would be amazing. thanks in advance.

It's probably just a case where the shipper is trying to cheat UPS by not listing the correct weight of the package.

I weighed one of my RTi6's on a bathroom scale (i.e. probably of limited accuracy.) Got 18.5-19 lbs. Multiply by two & add packaging-- the Polk spec of 42.5 lbs looks just about right to me.

    Cheers, Jim

I'm curious to know what you think of the RTi6's after break-in. I know mine improved steadily for the first 40 hrs. I am still amazed at their performance considering their size and cost.

    Cheers, Jim

Did you really expect them to be better? IMO you are comparing apple and oranges
