rt1000 speaker hookup question

I have the RT1000p speakers. Mine are about 7 yrs. old (in case that matters). To hookup the speakers previously, I had been stripping the wire and inserting it into the hole in the hex nut, which was then tightened. Can I use bannna plugs? If so, where do I insert them? Is there another way to connect the wire w/o having to strip it?

Yes, you can use banana plugs, you insert them into the tops of the binding posts, you may have to remove the small plastic circle on the top of the post, you need to have the binding straps in place or a small length of speaker wire.

Any wire will have to stripped unless you purchase it with the terminations already completed.
