Good Fed Ex damage experience

For once, a good experience with a shipping company. My recently purchased NAD C 542 arrived without a scratch but had the corner of the front fascia lightly cracked. Other than that, it looks brand new and was barely used by the previous owner. (something in the water on pieces I am buying...)

It was shipped in the original box with inserts, but apparently Fed Ex decided to manhandle it. In any event, Fed Ex has a check in the mail for the FULL purchase price AND I get to keep the unit. In fact, I believe they are paying me more than purchase price as the amount is I believe $340.00 or so, and I didn't pay that much. I would advise anyone dealing with a Fed Ex claim to get the shipper to fax in paperwork allowing you to deal with Fed Ex yourself as this will expediate things and allow the check to come directly to you. It was also shipped as "deliver no matter what" or something to that effect, so the unit isn't returned to the seller. The seller is just fine with the whole transaction and I got a free player. WOO HOO!

This baby works perfectly and sounds nice the longer I listen. How shall I spend the money????:) :):)

Awesome! Glad to see the tide has finally turned in your favor:)

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Hmmm....Halo's player is looking more appetizing by the minute. But Russman might chastise me for thinking tube player. And, I just got to listening to this baby, so I need to break myself in a bit...George: sell me that Dodd ELP. I'll make it worth your while.....
