I sent an email asking him if there are two or just one... but are these worth anything.. are they 'cool'...are they worth a look??

Thanks for any help. I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff on the internet, but I haven't found anything on these.

Thanks.

No brainer if it is a pair. I have never cared for Mac speakers, but the larger cabinet models like those do have a vintage cool factor.

You would be completely out of your mind, and no credit to this forum if you let those go.

The ML-4C sure looks tempting. Four 12" woofers, 11-speakers in the box. Wow.

Dunno about that particular model but I've always wanted to listen to the XR290's...overkill in every sense of the word. But anyway, for that price you really can't go wrong.

Then again, I don't have to answer to you guys about bringing in two huge pieces of furniture that I don't need and we don't have room for, and the fact that I have enough speakers that I have a pair in storage... that "answering" would be to my wife.

I haven't heard back from him. If he has TWO, and they come with the required equalizer, for $30, I'll pick them up and offer them up here to anyone who will come and get them. I hadn't received a response as of last night.

I love when people single out my comments.

Why even post the question if you're not going to be allowed to have them? Better to just anticipate what she's going to do or say in order to keep yourself out of hot water there sport.

I don't want them - and if you read my posts, I never said I did. People post about great garage sale finds, or gold-plated SDA's their grandmother had in the attic. I came across these by accident, thought maybe I'd check on interest for those who did NOT see them but might want them. I know enough to know McIntosh COULD BE a great find - or they could be for-**** speakers.

Sport? Aw... I feel all condescended to now.

The guy didn't get back with me, so I assume they're gone.
