Im getting my rotel 2 channel amp tomorrow to power the lsi15's and ran out of room on my audio rack.. I think beings i have a wall mount tv that an amp stand under it and in between the mains would look and work great!! any idea's on reasonable brands, anyone have one to sell? stuff like that.. suggestions

I called my local granite shop and they will make a 19" x 22" (stole the dimensions from a commercially made one) round over the edge and polish it and drill 4 holes in the bottom for spikes/feet for around $100 bucks

Salamander makes a nice one. It can probably be had online for about $150. Take a look at audio advisor. Sometimes they have them on sale.

BTW, $100 for the granite really isn't too bad. At about $50 sq/ft, it isn't a cheap item.

Definitely get the granite. For $100, you can't beat it. Just buy a set of nice spikes for it and you're good to go.

A less expensive alternative is to get a 2" thick cutting board and drill your own holes. Check out www.timbernation.com for the best prices. He sells stuff on the 'gon, too.

If you are having one made you might as well measure the amp and make it fit.

No, just a stand for the amp... The 1080 rotel im getting, I have an audio rack for the rest of the stuff.. but that is a cool rack and we went back and forth if we wanted a stand for under the plasma or the one off to one side.

I use this stand, since it matches my EFAV-3 Euro II.

I would go with granite though if had the $100 pricing in my area.

I use 18" concrete patio blocks, painted black and silicone sealed to a plywood base that has spiked feet from Parts Express mounted. Works great. I have my Outlaw M200's for my HT on these. I also mounted wood strips around the outside, also painted black, so all you see is about 1/4" of the concrete patio block sticking up. Works great, and cheap!

A nice piece of MDF covered with vinyl and spikes on the bottom will do everything you need very cheaply.

I'm not quite ready to start drilling holes in my sheetrock for the TV cables. Plus, I'm trying to spread the load around to different outlets. Onc eI install my new 20A outlets, hopefully this winter sometime, things will improve greatly.

You could just tie wrap the bunch together, pull them to the side and let them hang down next to the speaker. Who am I to talk anyway, mine are a mess... :)

Just don't run the power cable in the wall. If you are running new lines to the room, take a look at the Panamax MIW(mount in wall) surge protection system. It uses romex in the wall and a recessed outlet behind the television, and an the other end at the base of the wall.
