Just today I purchased this satellite/sub http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hnHskcSSILU/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=12700&I=700RM6005B combo from Crutchfield for my wifes setup upstairs which will be replacing a set of KLH's which only consisted of the L, C, R and a passive KLH sub. My question is this, I noticed on the PSW10 subwoofer the only 'Line In' is left and right and it is unfiltered. I prefer not to use the speaker level inputs just to keep down on the clutter of speaker cables so how exactly do I hook this setup up using the LFE out of the 3805. Do I just hook all the speakers up to the receiver then run a subwoofer cable out of the 3805 to a Y-adapter into the left and right input of the sub, or do I just run to either the left of right into the sub with a single subwoofer cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless the 3805 has an adjustable crossover (that goes up to 150hz or so) you'll want to use the speaker level connections or else you'll have a gap in the frequency response between the sat's and the sub.

    The adjsutable crossover frequencies of the 3805 are as follows: 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200, and 250Hz.

So, maybe I missed something but do I a) use the Y-adapter w/subwoofer cable, b) use a single subwoofer cable or do I c) use the speaker level inputs to get the best performance out of these speakers.

I have this set as well. With an upgrade up front.
Try both ways of hooking up the sub. Use a Y- adaptor. They both work, but you may prefer one hookup over the other.
Experiment and have some fun with it!!

You can do any of them, but option a or b will work, just be sure to set the crossover on your receiver slightly above where the sat's roll off and turn the crossover on the sub all the way up.

I would try 150 and or 200 on your receiver. The freq. response of the sats is down to 150hz.

Turn the subs crossover as high as it will go.
