Install help

Well I need to do some clean up on my install. I'm running new wiring to everything. Below you will see some pics of the current install and as bad as it may look, its pretty stable, just looks like crap. I have two questions.
1) Any ideas on how to handle the positive terminal? I think Knu has a battery terminal that will work, but as you can see there is a ton of stuff connected right to the positive terminal. Currently, I just ran my power wire under the factory stuff. The knu terminal will probably not work with the plastic cover though, any one know of any others that have a 4 gage and the ring terminal?
2) Where to mount my new inline fuse holder? I was thinking of making a bracket to clamp onto the cross bar across the batter (holding the battery in place).
Any ideas guys?

For the positive terminal, first take it off and clean all that corrosion off.
Next, run down to your local car stereo shop and buy a ring terminal. Terminate your power wire with it and place it on either of those bolts. Either the one staring straight up at the camera or the one on the side.
As for the inline fuse holder, you have to mount it BEFORE the firewall otherwise you defeat the purpose of it which is to cut the flow of current to the wire should it become stripped on something and that keeps it from starting a fire.
Just screw it onto a good flat surface inside your engine compartment somewhere. You wont even have to drill anything, just run some self tapping screws and youre set.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I have two Maximas, a 1996 GXE and 2002 SE. That OEM battery clamp and red cover looked very familiar .Alpine: CDA-7949
