It has been incredibly humid in MD for about a week and I am tired as **** of it. I need some nice dry heat to come into town.

The other day I picked up some Polk S4's for my mom's 2ch rig from a guy here locally. He just moved (and upgraded his system). Anyway, he moved the S4's, went back and got the next load, had some S10's in the back of the car.

Stopped at a local eatery, parked IN THE SHADE, and when he came back out in an hr, the front baffels on the S10's had melted, and folded up like bologna in the microwave....

    IN THE SHADE mind you.....

(The S series had a resin front baffle, attached to a wood cab)

    Cheers,
    Russ

I do have one thing to ask, being a Texan, I know hell is hot, but is it humid too?
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

    I would say probably yes.

Down here in Austin it ain't much better. It *is* better than that hellhole Houston though.

I absolutely had to go get my windows tinted yesterday. I'm tired of getting in my truck after work and baking in 120 degrees untill the AC kicks in.
