Hi,

i recently bought some MMC690 4ohm 100wattRMS and 300wattpeak speakers...

I have a (KAC-7201) 2 channel kenwood 150wattRMSx2 @4ohm and 800watt peak.

would it be a good idea to wire the amp to the speakers??

or would i blow them up...

I'm kind of sad because i have this amp sitting around, and i want to use it!! ahh.... if it doesn't work then i'll trade with a lower RMS amp!

but the main question.... can i hook that amp up to my speakers and not harm them?

Yes, that amp will work fine.

Make sure you dont set the gain too high and if the speakers sound like theyre being pushed too hard, they are. Back off the gain some more. But with proper settings and common sense with the volume knob, this amp will run the 690's just fine.
