Believe me, they want much more than the e-commerce end of things, how about you walk up to the machine, punch some numbers into your cell phone and wala---Out pops your energy drink, the possibilites are fun to play with and pretty much endless.

Paypal is great for buyers; I once bought a pair of RTi12's that were never shipped (there's a thread about it somewhere here...). Filed a claim and Paypal refunded ALL my money.

Exactly. Paypal is all about protecting buyers since they are the bulk of users. Sellers get the crap side. Paypal has a huge virtual monopoly. Hardly anyone used Bidpay, Western Union, etc. As I mentioned earlier, is a guaranteed fact that you will get more money for your items if you accept Paypal. I very often buy items on Ebay and turn right back around and sell them after cleaning and taking GOOD photos. I see many worthy pieces sell under valued since sellers don't take Paypal.

Paypal is owned by eBay..............big enough conglomerate in itself, and just like the auction site being the giant in its field, Paypal is no so huge that I don't see anyone horning in on its marketshare soon.

Shrewd move on eBay's part to get money on both sides of the transaction.

Over 400 transactions on my part with no real issues.
