This surge protector/line conditioner/UPS has been used for approximately 2 months. I haven't been able to find a scratch on it. Shipped in the original box, with outer shipping sleeve as well.

This piece would be perfect for a entertainment system that uses a rear or front projection DLP or LCD. With its IR outputs, it can be programmed to perform a shutdown procedure, extending the life of the bulb.

This has been used in my demonstration system, so it will come with full factory warranty.

Retail: $999.00 (or as little as $850 from most reliable resellers).

Flea Market Price: $525 [/COLOR]NOW REDUCED TO $375shipped to the contiental U.S. (shipping weight is about 60 pounds)

Payments accepted: Check, MO, Paypal(split fees), or cash if you would like to come visit me to pick it up.

If you are interested, post here, email, or PM.

The UPS 1500 is the bottom component in the picture.

If there isn't any interest over the weekend, I'll throw it on Craigslist, then Audiogon.

Anyone want this for $450 shipped?

If anyone is hung up on price, let me know.

I am replacing it with the Shunyata Guardian 4 for demonstration purposes.

What's your opinion on how this would compare, SQ wise, to the likes of the PSAudio UPC-200? Just curious. I'm afraid I couldn't buy anthing at the moment.

I haven't noticed any audio or video degradation.

I won't make any direct comparisons to the PS piece, as I have not had it in my system.

Been doing some ebay price checking, and although I can't go as low as some of those sales, I can offer full warranty and will take care of any problems that might arise.

    $375 shipped.

Again, if you have a rear projection dlp or lcd, or front projector, this might save you from having to replace the bulb as often.

I've also got a MIW that I will throw in for $75 more: http://www.panamax.com/products.cfm?group=1&sec=detail&id=221&ly=h
This would work great if you have a plasma on the wall or a ceiling mounted projector. You run romex between the two units, then run the power cord to the surge protector. That way you are protected, and your wires are hidden.

I originally purchased this as a demo, with plans to use it in a future installation. However, the installations haven't had a need for it recently.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Had it up on Craigslist since Monday, and all I've received are scam emails. That is the main reason I chose to sell it here first.

Man...all of a sudden...for some reason...for $375...I'm tempted...and I don't even have a need for battery backup! However, not only would Mom pound me...again...my bank account would finally be empty, too. Can't let that happen. :(

    Good luck with selling it!

AB, there are self-help groups for people like yourself. They usually start by cutting back to clicking on only 5 classifieds per week and then step down to zero. Eventually, the urges to buy every piece of mid-hi fi, deal priced gear will fade away to the recesses of your mind.....:)

I do have to say that I noticed many of the cars at PF were worth less than the gear their owners are purported to own. Glad everyone has their priorities!
