ya im checking out some different sub boxes for my f150 extended cab and some people have showed me one thats custom built with two 8s (http://www.carstereopro.com/enclosures/ford150_ext.htm) and some have one 10-12 on ebay...i was just wondering which one would have the best quailty since im really tight on space and which one would hit hardest, if i were to put in middle to upper quality sub(s) in...im pretty new to this so any help would be appreciated..thanks

i saw a old ford at nopi with the subs in the bed proted to the cab, it really kicked, i mean it was the loudest there by far. i think it was running 4 10 or 12'' sony xplodes and an amp for each. which might b a bit of work to hook up and port to ur cab but man, that pushed some serious air

A box is a box as long as its made well (i.e. NOT out of plastic) and has the proper interior volume for the subs youre wanting to use.
A generic MDF box from your local shop will work just as well as anything else.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
