Why are extra large eggs the same size as a small eggs when I was a kid? Smaller chickens I suppose.

I don't pay much attention. All I know is I buy a carton (18 Pack) of eggs pretty much every other week. I hard boil them all and put them back in the container. I eat one or two of them a day.

Just so everyone knwos, the whole "Brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh" thing is a lie. Brown eggs and white eggs are exactly the same, tehy're just from different types of hens.

Nothing beats fresh eggs from your own chickens.

Fertilized, are even better, you can do it yourself if: your chickens aren't too fast, and the fence between you and your neighbors is high enough.:D

Hey, you've already got 2 of the 4. They're damn near carb free, and they're only about 76 calories.

Hey, how about the Century Egg of the Thousand Year Old Egg?

My buddy ate one once and I almost vomited just watching him. I did not have the stones to try one myself. They're not really that old, but they are aged.

Can't decide if it's worse than Kimchi or Balut.

Range free. After seeing miles of caged hens and cattle just once was enough to make me nearly vomit.

Once again, Bobman speaketh the truth. Brown eggs have no added benefit other than they look cool. I eat at least 9 egg whites/3 yolks/day of good ole' whiteys, most of the time mixed up in a bowl full of oatmeal the consistency of spackle. Scrambled and over easy. Hardcore. Yummy.

From a health standpoint, eating eggs from chickens not fed antibiotics and steroids would be a better idea, but that gets expensive. Plus, my future children will be well served with an extra toe or two.

But what's really important is this question: Do you think eggs on Pluto taste different than eggs on Earth? Inquiring minds want to know! BUCK, BUCK! :)

EDIT: Anyone ever have one of those raw little quail eggs cracked open over their sushi?

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I bought organic eggs from a local farmer until his chicken coup burned down.

Wouldn't have burned down if he had had a "FRYER EGG-stinguisher".

Rig for cooking eggs in previous thread:
    Ikea 10" frypan, $8.99
    Plastic spatula $1.00
Mazola Spray, no propellents $2.49 Publix
Plastic dish: some type of microwavable plastic that leeches chemicals into food when heated. Stolen from my ex-girlfriend.
Eggs: Publix, large, whitey's, 3 whites, one yolk, loaded with animal steroids and antibiotics
Oatmeal: Publix, old-fashioned, 1/2 cup raw, 3/4 cup H20, 7 minutes/med power, nuked:D :D:D:D:D:D Remove from micro, add way overcooked eggs, and stir. Serves 1 (if you can stomach it.)
