So I recently got this Vintage Marantz 1060 integrated amp, and also the Onix x-ls speakers and sub. I have seen that Marantz makes wooden cases for their older models. I built one myself to match my onix speakers. Check it out!

Excellent work! I have a number of vintageMarantz pieces with original wooden cases. Your's is real nice since you made it to match your speakers. Are you going to put a vent grill on the rear?

    Thanks guys!

The ply was kinda tricky. At first i was planning to use some kind of maple veneer to cover up the edges, but after i finished gluing and sanding i kind of liked the way the bands looked.

I just sanded a bunch with finer grades. Then 3 coats of polyurethane was all it took with sanding in between. The hardest part was glueing the 45degree angles to make the box.
