I purchased this from Doro, and here is the orginal FS post that has the detail
specs and other info:

Since I owned the preamp, I have had no more than 100 hours on it. Why? I
added 3 more tube pre's since I bought the Line 1, and I don't have much time
to use it. This little tube amp is relatively dark sounding and is very responsive to the tube's signature; for example, it is relatively neutral with the JAN 5814,
very open with Amperex 12AU7, and crystal mid and high with JJ 12AU7. It is an affordable means to explore what tube is all about.

It comes with everything I received - manual, EH 12AU7 (virtually new if I am not mistaken), and JAN 5814, all for $275 insured ship to conus.

Yep, that's a fact...it's a nice tube pre-amp to get you started in this genre. It will allow you to play with tubes, or in this case....a single tube pre-amp. That way you can become familiar with the in's and out's of a tube pre-amp on the cheap.

I will include another tube, FREE of course, with Fred's sale. I'll have to look in the goody box to see what's shakin' but it will be another option for that particular tube family. You should have a couple to swap off the bat, so this is your opportunity.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
