All good, but all different in their own way. My personal preference choice would be the Electra 906's by a wide margin, but only if used with a tube integrated amp (Jolida, etc) as a starting point.

It really depends on your music preference. I have the CDM1NT's used as surrounds. Very good speaker for everything except hard rock. The Polk's would probably be the best bang for the buck. Sonus Faber are excellent but very expensive. I think the B&W's or Polks would give you most of thier performance for a fraction of the price. I am not familiar with the JM's so I cannot comment. One thing for sure, they all like nice clean power, especially the Polks at 4ohm.

That's a loaded question....try and buy something noone has, would be my suggestion. If you follow the pack all the time, you'll never get anywhere.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Well in that case i think i may get a set of cain & cain abby's they look cool and the reviews sound pretty good. Has anyone personally heard them. I am going to be trying out a set of CDM1NT's in a couple of days a friend has a set.

I'm sure BMDP will drop in, in regards to the Abby....get ready for tubes.
