Will I be alright powering my db6500s with the 50w x 4 output (probably more like 15w) from my Alpine CDA9857?

I want to amplify them but Im worried about putting an amp in my brand new car. Dont want any problems with the dealer for warranty work.

You should be ok but you will get much better perfomance with an amp.

You also shouldnt worry about the dealer hassling you about voiding your warranty they legally cant do that and there are many ways of installing an amp without having to screw holes or use velcro or dum dum.

Agreed. The HU will run them just fine but you wont get their best performance without an amp.

As for messing up your new car, I recommend checking with your local shop (not a Circuit City or Best Buy but a REAL car stereo shop). They can look at your car and give you plenty of options for installing an amp pretty easy and without messing anything up.
