RM6800 Sub Placement. Question about wall treatment.

Hi, my new system is very good. I´m happy and the only issue is with the location of the sub. You know that this sub is side firing, so my question is related to it. The only location that I have is a corner between the end of my couch and a wall. This space is about 2´x 3´. But the port is firing in direction to the wall, so I listen with some kinds of music a little boomy. I just wondering if would be good treat this piece of the wall with material (Dumping or diffusing).
Does anybody know if it could work? If yes, What material, dumping or diffusing? The wall is drywall and I´m posting a plan with a setup of my room.
Any comments would be great.
Thanks.

I do not know about wall treatments, I just wondered which method did you decide on for your Sub Connection?
Polk Method or LFE? -
Hi, LFE. Definitely LFE. Polk Method don´t work for my taste. Do you have RM 6800??
