On the great day of celebration. Yes already planned I shall first travel to CC to purchase my first real tv :D . Probably a Panasonic 32". Which I feel to be a major upgrade from my 25" Magnavox Wal-mart special (yes I shop at Wal-Mart too). That does not even have any additional inputs than the standard coax:( . So I am rather excited about the up and coming purchase. Hey it looks like I really am movin on up. Maybe I'll buy another Dvd player to while I am there. Or speakers or cables or a cd player or just stop by a liquor store on my way back and buy supplies for the dazed and confused evening away from my new tv:( . You guys just don't understand even growing up my parents never had bigger than a 25". My parents don't understand me spending as much as I have on A/V, and I haven't spent much. I hooked up my parents Sony shelf system to their DVD player. The response I got from my mom was "ooh that sounds like the movie theater". Just to give you an idea of how much money they think I have wasted.

    HI:

I have a Panosinic 32" and I really like it. It has a 3comb digital filter, component, svideo, and composite. That is all I need, and it really has a very good picture. I only paid around $500.00 for it Christmas before last.

The Panasonic I am eyeing is the CT32D12. At about $500 it seems like the tv for me, The next step up would be theCT32D32. Which adds PIP. That being something I feel is not neccesary. I thought there were some Pannie owners on here. Is everyone happy with their quality verse cost? For the same price I could get a 27" Tau. Though since I have not really been around flat screens I am unsure if the excess cost per inch is worth it especially losing 5"s in a 18' long living room. Which I feel would be a rather large difference. Are all of you in agreement that the 32" traditional would be a wiser purchase?
