Hey guys I just bought an LCD tv for school that has HD built in. My apt has no possiblity for an outdoor antenna and I am about 50 miles away from the stations. Is there any indoor antenna that is strong enough for this situation? Thanks

First off, you can find a lot of information on this site.

I have tried to use indoor antennas and haven't had really good success with them at all. I live about 75 miles from the stations in Los Angeles and have had really good success with a rooftop mounted UHF Channel Master Model 4248 w/ a cheapO radio shack booster. I pull in all the affiliates CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, UPN and a host of Spanish stations, PBS, etc. without issue. Best thing for you to do is buy a indoor antenna, keep the receipt and try it out. If it doesn't work for you then return it.

I'm about 20 miles away from the stations in the DC area, and my indoor antenna get's a decent signal, but not wonderful. I would think from 50 miles away, you wouldn't be able to pull anything in. But, as mentioned before, try it out, see if it works, if not... return it.
