Used M5 outdoor speaker,how much$

I'm looking for some speakers for outdoors. I found a pair of M5 speakers in the local classifieds but have no idea of the age or original cost. Does anyone know when the M5's where manufactured and at what price did they sell for? What would be a fair price for used M5's ? How do they sound ?

    Hello,
    Thanks for participating in the Forum. The AWM5 were produced from 1994 until 1999 and had a suggested retail price of $500.00 a pair. The used market value has them between $128.00 and $170.00 a pair depending upon condition. Out-of-door speakers are often played at much higher average volumes than an in-door speaker. It would be a good idea to make sure everything sounds correct; tweeters and drivers playing with no distortion.
