Classical Box Sets(3) - Readers Digest - Dynagroove(RCA CUSTOM) - *ALL SOLD*
I have 3 very nice box sets of Classical music, including the following:
CHOPIN - Poet of the Piano - RDA-41-A - 4LP - NM - The tracks include examples of the following types of Chopin: Waltz/ Polonaise/ Mazurka/ Nocturne/ Impromptu/ Prelude/ Ballade/ Scherzo/ Etude/ Sonata & Concerto. It includes piano soloists Moura Lymphany, Abbey Simon, Lilian Kallir and Shura Cherkassky. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Rudolph Kempe.
This also includes a great set of liner notes, 15 pages, written by Clair W. Van Ausdall.
ARTHUR FIEDLER PRESENTS : The Wonderful World of Music - RDA 199-A - 10LP - VG+/NM - This is basically 10 individual LP examples of music from around the world, including: Austria/ Italy/ Germany/ France/ Hungarian/ Scandinavian/ Russia/ Spain & Bohemia.
This also includes a mint copy of the current, at that time, Readers Digest music catalog. It lists a sample of every box set from their catalog. A mint set of RD reservation post cards is included, intact and unused.
MAGICAL WORLD OF MELODY - The Best-Loved Melodies by 20 of the World's Most Popular Composers - RD16-K - 10LP - VG+/NM - As the title suggests, here are the composers: Irving Berlin/ Geroge Gershwin/ Jerome Kern/ Cole Porter/ Richard Rodgers/ Vincent Youmans/ Lerner & Loewe/ Frank Loesser/ Duke Ellington/ Leroy Anderson/ Stephen Foster/ Franz Lehar/ Tchaikovsky/ Rachmaniinoff/ Johann Strauss, Jr./ Richard Strauss/ Debussy/ Edvard Grieg/ Jacques Offenbach/ Chopin.
It also includes a mint, 23 page liner note discussion of all the artists, a set of mini-liner notes, a Readers Digest music catalog w/ original reservation cards intact and RD reservation certificates for ordering more box sets.
