Whoa guys - major update.
I went to the Circuit City about 20 miles from my job (was never there before) after I had gotten out of work, and they had the 140, 240 and 340 IN STOCK!
Suprisingly, the 140 was $449, the 240 was $399 and the 340 was $599!!!! What a treat! I'm not sure which one I would like to buy, I will have to sleep on it now that I have a few choices.
Amazing, I will never trust CC's website again.
Oh, one more thing, does the 240 have a pre-amp out so if I wanted too down the road, I could add on an additional amp? I know the 140 doesn't, the 340 does, but I'm not sure about the 240 - does it? Thanks! My Living Room 3.1 config:

the 240 has pre-outs.
the difference between the 240 and 340 is 5 more watts, backlit remote, and slightly different room calibration system.
I'd get the 240. -
Yes the 240 has pre-outs.
In addition to what Andrew listed, the 340 adds a 2nd zone...if that's important.
For $200 diff, grab the 240 and run!Receiver: harmankardon AVR235

 Just a thought, but you could sell the gift card on Ebay for a little less than its value. Say you "lose" $25.00 in the process, but get the cash to spend where you want. I have seen many gift cards from various spots that sell close to what the actual value is. If someone can get $400 card for $375.00, they are still coming out ahead. Your wife might not find that a good idea, however....UNIVERA
