HK 3380 DVD Player any good?

Does anyone know if this dvd player is any different from the 'mainstream' brands: Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, etc.? I really like the design, and I seriously need to upgrade my single-layer Toshiba dvd player (hey, it was the **** back in 1999 or 2000). I don't need any special features so this is the one I will buy if it really does output more quality than the others. Thanks!

I can't find that model number dvd player.

Most HK DVD players are numbered XX; the older cd players had the XXXX format

The only HK 3380 listed is the 2ch receiver...
    Receiver: harmankardon AVR235
    Mains: polk R30
    Center: polk CSi3
    Rear Surrounds: polk R20
    Subwoofer: polk PSW404
    DVD: Panasonic DVD-S29

****. Might as well get a panasonic... basically the same unit but with a less attractive face. HK makes good receivers, THAT'S IT! Their dvd players are the worst product I've seen them ever attempt.
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.
