I know this is not the right place to post(not enough posts to put it where it should be).Anyways,I just noticeda PSAudio cable that was sold here.Advertised and bought as (SC) cable.Wrong-it`s the old version-not the single crystal,hence SC -new cable-just ranting-have A NICE DAY

    Jimi, have you at all discussed your issue with the seller? You need to stand up for yourself to the person you feel wronged before you come here and expect people to help if you can't help yourself.

    Work on it and then get back to us.

    oops-shoulda made it clear-I wasn`t involved in this sale at all.I just looked at the post cuz the PS Audio (SC) caught my attention.For those who dont know-the SC cables have SC on them next to whatever model of SC cable you buy;Prelude SC,Plus SC etc.

    My point still remains........deal with whomever you're aiming your gripe towards. Why not ask the question in the actual thread rather than start a new one in a totally different room? If your point is to **** for the sake of bitching, you're more than welcome to leave.

    Perhaps a mistake was made? Possibly some first run thing where they were not badged the same way? Maybe the seller really is pulling a scam and should be kicked around like a bookshelf speaker or maybe he is honestly mistaken and will make full prostitution. In any case you should pm the seller and see what the deal is. If it is a scam of some sort then post the link. Those are your obligations as an upstanding member here at club polk. :)

    Hopefully I can clear up the confusion here. There was a very brief period when PS Audio was changing over to the new SC cords that they were selling the new cords with the new cover, but still using the old plug heads without the SC markings. Clear enough???

    And for the record, all previous PS Audio power cords use OFC.

    HEY...my power cords don't have crystals in them either...damn....

    I rec'd the power cord. It's in like new condition and is what it was advertised as. I am one happy buyer! It made my Parasound HCA-1500 amplifier sound like a $20,000 power amplifier ;) (I couldn't resist that one!). Thanks for your concern, back to our regularly scheduled program.

    whew-18 in 5 years-guess I have too much free time-should probabley work more than 8 months this year--nah!The weather is quit bearable here with all the fresh clean water to enjoy-unlike some dusty arid,muddy water places I know of.Not to mention the third world cities of this country that are everywhere.Now to Zero-I apologise if you do indeed have tha SC model,but according to PSAudio,you dontpsaudio.com/newsletters/4-06.asp

    OK, the main point for me is that when I ordered three PS Audio power prelude power cords on the last Audio Advisor clearance sale, I got two with the solid color cloth cover that matched and were marked correctly on the boxes per the model #'s that I ordered. I got this one rogue power cord that is exactly the same as the one I bought from Zero, markings on the cloth cover, and numbers on the box. Now if we put all the debate over whether a power cord does have some tangible benefit to SQ, I just like seeing two identical power cords snaking out from behind my two Parasound HCA-1500 power amplifiers. I'm a pretty simple guy, and this makes me happy. And per Zero's comment, I still came out ahead even if it technically isn't whatever Zero thought it was. So hey, I appreciate your concern, thanks for contributing and keeping the CP family tradition alive. Doug.
