Selling my brand new, sealed in factory box, refurbished Harman AVR7300. Biggest, baddest and high current 75 amp out on 7x110watts. Pure power. Search POLK forum for a lot of recommendations and discussions.

I am moving cross-country and need to unload a few things that were planned installed here but I am changing my HT in my new home, so won't be using them. My last piece is a brand-spankin new 7300.

New, refurbished unit bought on Ebay originally direct from Harman Kardon. Full factory 1-year (or 2-year, don't remember exactly) warranty. It comes with everything...two remotes, user manuals, warranty card (not filled out of course), power cord, antennas and whatever else comes standard when new.

Confused?? Looking at my signature where it has said AVR7300? Yes, I have another 7300 that I have been using in my system. I got two. They were so cheap (retail $2400) and I paid about $950 each. One has just been sitting here, never even opened. This is the one I am selling. It was delivered to me in July 06.

Specs are found here:

http://www.harmankardon.com/specifications.aspx?cat=REC&ser=&prod=AVR%207300&sType=H

Asking $850, a bargain for someone wanting the best receiver out there. This is a high current amp, my friends, and reallife tests show around 130, 140 watts per channel. can easily power any speaker in the LSi series

You have my word that this is what it is and if you are in any way not happy with it - whatever reason - I will accept to take it back. I am that confident you will be thrilled with this purchase.

Enough already. PM me. Thanks.

It is $988.00 today at the Harman Outlet Store. That's not a bad price, but this is a great price. I wish I could swing it. Someone jump on this.

Anywhere in the lower 48 states. This weighs 74 lbs so I am including a hefty shipping cost in my $850. Canada add $31 and I don't know if I can ship to Alaska or Hawaii, haven't checked the prices.

Any takers? Need to sell this as I am moving in a little over weeks and want enough time for payment to arrive, for shipping to take place and for buyer to receive it and have enough time to be able to install and make sure he/she is happy about their purchase.

Don't forget that the 988 on Harman's site does not include shipping or tax (if applicable). I paid 50 approx in shipping and as I live in AZ I also paid another another 65 in taxes.

Hi, I've got a couple of questions.

How is payment handled? Do you use pay pal or ??

Does this reciever get any warmer than other HK models? I currently have a 130 AVR and since the 7300 has a significantly higher output was not sure if heat would be a problem.

I am going to try and get over to a Tweeter (closest higher end store near me) to demo a higher end HK to see if this is what I am looking for. I've been looking at the Outlaw seperates, but this HK deal might change my mind on that. What is the latest you need a response/offer by?

Outlaw separates are great units. They will likely give you better music experience than can my 7300, but the HK has a superb Faroudja chip for video upscaling and all your video sources will look so much better with the HK than the Outlaw.

So it depends on what your priority is.

As for heat, the HK produces significant amounts of heat, but nothing wrong about that. Just have good airflow where you put it. It isn't a problem like it was with older HKs but the 7300 does get warm to the touch, no doubt.

Try and find one locally and feel for yourself. It is just as warm in standby as it is when playing, in my experience.

I have a buyer pending on this unit.

My friend will most likely take it for $825 shipped. He has been saving for about 6 months now while working a second job just to get his HT up and going. I assure you that he has the money that it is no problem. I just happened to mention this deal to him on the phone and he was immediately interested in owning one of the best units available to us average joes. I will PM you with the details.
